- 1 lb large raw shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1/3 cup white wine
- 1/4 tsp black pepper, or to taste
- 1/2 tsp Sea salt
- 1/4 tsp paprika, or to taste
- 1 Tbsp Parsley to garnish
- Cook 3/4 pound pasta in a pot of boiling water with 1 tablespoon salt until al dente, according to package directions. Set aside after draining without rinsing.
